I am looking for a great sounding/preformance exhaust with as little droning as possible. I've been doing a lot of research and I was really leaning towards the MBRP until there were a bunch of negative reviews saying how it rusts easily, bad droning once you hit 65mph and will continue to get louder throughout the year. IDK if this is true or not cuz other people on here say it is a great exhaust to have. I just want to know your guy's opinions on what I should get or look for when buying an exhaust. thank you!

Exhaust noise is all in the eye of the beholder. Even listening to a video doesn't really do the sound justice. You either roll the dice based on someone else's opinion of the sound, or find someone with the sound you like, and ask them what they run.

Unless you have a supercharger or a turbo, there isn't much of a reason to get a full exhaust (incl headers), and you're not really going to be seeing much in the way of power increase either (without a SC/headers, etc..). So really, it's all about the noise.

I see a lot of people using magnaflow mufflers.

Magnaflow is the best sounding, but overpriced and rusted quick. As long as you are not looking for any power increase. Just a bit louder than stock, no drone on the highway

Well let's see. Started out with the stock muffler/tailpipe. Loved the sound myself, because Toyota specifically used this muffler being it's best tuned to this 3.4 for reasonable audio and control. But I wanted twin pipes so I got hold of a one inlet two outlet muffler off a wrecked Tundra Daryl Waltrup in 2009, had that and a set of one-side swept tailpipes custom bent and welded.
That muffler sprung a leak at the rear so I went and bought a Magnaflow 18" one inlet two outlet. That muffler lasted ONE DAY on my truck. Too loud! Set off car alarms and gave my gal a headache-literally. That muffler now hangs in my garage.
So I went back in and bought an OEM muffler again and had them weld in a two to one collector to the rear of that muffler then weld the twin tailpipes to that so I could keep the dual look.
Sounds real nice out those twins. Perfect and subdued but not too loud or ricey.
My advice-keep it stock. They had the ugly drone of our engine figured out.

the OEM that fits my truck has been discontinued or EXTREMELY difficult to find, plus its not corrosion resistant and at nearly $700 if available + install

I took a chance on the Borla touring for about the same price w/installation
million mile warranty, aircraft grade metal that supposedly wont corrode
it is not very loud at all, have had my truck zoomin at 90mph and it sounded better than the worn out stock (which had a hole init)
... has slightly bigger pipe diameter so small amount of boosted ego power i guess

have only had it on for a few months, so I will get back to you and my opinion in the next decade

I think Borla or spintech mufflers sound good on the 3.4.

I have been using Walker Exhaust for years it fits you can find it almost anyplace and change in the Walmart parking lot if need be.

About the only time I can hear it is when someone else moves the truck which is so very good.
