    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Tonight I got the torque converter to take roughly 1/2 quart of fluid. It lost about that much when I removed it. I had to carefully feed that torque converter like a baby to get it to take fluid. Once I got it filled with fluid, I was able to mount it and clock it. CLICK CLICK. I did it.

I'm using a metal bracket to hold the clock position until I get a guide pin installed and have the engine ready to drop. Hopefully, Toyota will get the flywheel bolts that I need to go forward with the engine installation.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Right on brother  If you have pics, I'd love to see them. And if you don't mind a few questions when I get everything together and start this, I'd really appreciate that as well.

I do remember that was a pain in the ass... and I wasn't even dealing with a front diff at the time (was still prerunner).

There was something in the way, but I can't even remember what, or how I moved it.

Maybe. Don't think I've ever had that bolt out unless the diff was out.

Well I ended up having my dad bring me my dremel from his house and I cut a flat spot on the flange of the longer steering rack bolt. Got everything installed and wallah! no more steering rack moving 3+ inches when turning the steering wheel. Firestone claimed I needed a whole new rack

Nope. 3 leaf 63s with a wagoner leaf. Used to have an add a leaf to help with axle wrap but ditched that for more Uptravel. Using a 6 in shackle to make up for the difference helps which is pretty standard in the Toyota world when swapping to 63s

Pictures from my build. Let me know if you need anymore or have any other questions. My upper mount sat in one of the ridges in the bed. Best way to figure out what shock fits is to set your upper mount and put the axle at full bump and measure for collapsed shock length then put the axle at full drop and measure for extended length then order shocks. That’s the proper way to do it but most wont.

These are from when I first finished it years ago. Changing it up now to outboard everything

Haha yeah I've found this out! Cut away at most of the inside fender and the problem has been fixed for regular turning but if I turn it almost full lock and hit a bump its over haha

So there is no real reason to not get an AGM battery? Other than the fact that I havent dealt with one before? If thats the case then Ill do some research because that sounds like a powerful battery!

For her 350k birthday I took her to ziebart and got her rustproofed again. I didnt realize thats supposed to be a yearly thing, but she definitely earned it. 20190612_195830.jpg 20190612_195853.jpg 20190612_195908.jpg
I dont know if it was done well, don't really know what it should look like.
I also noticed how much my front end is sagging from all the newly placed weight

I had some 1/4" steel brackets made to attach 2.5x3.5 to the frame. Tack welded and cleaned up the surface. Cut out the smashed up rear corner, plan is to run a piece down under the bedside until I destroy it enough to convince me to go flatbed.

Fun stuff, I replaced my whole starter a couple of days ago with the duralast factory refurb a couple of days ago for about 90 bucks, greatly recommend it, I've had no issues yet and comes with a lifetime warranty from autozone
