Old ManEmu 886 coils, bilstein 5100's set at zero with a 1/4" Toytec aluminum top plate spacer on both sides.

No I didnt get to installing my CB yet. I need to buy a coax cable.

Hopefully the shop has an opening tomorrow for an alignment and to get the 285/75/16 Duratrac's mounted.

I'm working on my landlords/neighbors hillside now, clearing it all out. I'm on the third trailer load now.

That's the Asian water plants, sumac trees, some were 7" round and 36' high. Bought a Craftsman polesaw (thing is a beast) for the job because it's all thorns on everything. With a 12' reach I can stay away from the thorns while cutting this shit down, couldn't do that eith my chainsaw. LOL

Anyone interested in my Baja coilovers. They give 1.75" lift over a stock Tacoma. They have 59k miles on them. The red powdercoating is flaking off (could be repowdercoated or sand blasted and painted. The bilsteins can be made shiny again by scuffing them up with either sandpaper or scotchbrite pads. The one will need a new stud as is snapped off. Asking $300 can meet within reason or ship them on your dime.

Swapped out the rusted outer tie rod ends for new greasable Moogs today. Needed done before the alignment on Wednesday or they would've overcharged for new tre's and to install them. I had to cut the originals off. I really hate living in the rustbelt.

My passenger side won’t quit squeaking like a worn out box spring. I’ve drowned the ball in PTFE and (correctly) pumped the zerks up twice.

I really hope it just needs to settle a little and it’s not the damn shock. I don’t feel like taking ADS coils off with 30k to get rebuilt. They’re not leaking, but that doesn’t mean anything.

Next on the list of things done in the past 4 days: Front brakes and rotors. Removed the old set because the pads were done to 1mm before the metal backing and the rotors were rusted and below the cuttable thickness. PowerStop cross-drilled and slotted rotors and pads made for lifted trucks, towing and hauling and above frequent stops. $158 thru the pepboys store on Ebay. In store they wouldve been $286.

Started trimming for the 285's going on tomorrow. I'll do the cab mount chop after so I can see how far back I need to cut them and weld new steel in. I'm going to fabricate new oversized mudflaps like I did before but with the flares, cmc and inner fender notched.

Nobody ever listens to me. I told the guys at the shop not to double stack or use thick wheel weights because they dont clear the calipers. I get home and see where the ticking sound was coming from on the way home. Looks like a couple got knocked off and gouged the wheel and the other side it just scraped the calipers. All four wheels had the weights stuck on the same way so now I get to drive back to south hills tomorrow to have the rebalance the tires the right way.

That’s annoying. I had four wheels gouged on the lip (no plastic tips on alignment tools) and hub (balanced without the cone) once. The techs are paid minimum wage and generally don’t give a shit, unfortunately.

Any reputable shop in Pittsburgh to rebuild shocks? I’m due I guess. One side sounds like a rusty box spring.

The tech was an older guy who was cool enough to remove the rock rings before swapping the tires so he wouldn't jack them up with the machine, this took awhile but I liked that he had the intelligence and decency to do that. Would've been nice if he listened about the wheel weights.

The same shit everyone else has.
Anyone have a single 16” second gen alloy TRD wheel or 16” spare they wanna part with? I have a pile of Sport wheels I’d trade. I’m still looking for a full size spare for my truck and can’t find a decent price single used 285/70. I’ve come across a pile of of 285/75s but keep passing them up because I don’t have anything to mount them to.

TLDR; looking for a single 16” TRD wheel or single used 285/70/17

    Pic for attention.
