Yes, methanol/ water is great for cleaning engines, extra fuel, octane, and safety nets for reckless boosters like myself.

 

I just figured if straight water is good enough for the M4 GTS then it’s good enough for me

The new BMW uses our same exact pump. They may only suggest water as to be California compliant. Ask a bimmer tech. I'm sure it's better with 50/50.

There’s also the weird choochoo effect from Methanol lol. Basically whatever mix hasn’t evaporated by the time of combustion is immediately vaporized and contributes slightly to the pressure that drives the cylinder down. Hence why it’s called the choochoo effect, slight steam power for the win lol.

Well, in other news, I threw on a 2 into 2 Freedom Performance exhaust and a Cobra Power Pro FI2000 tuner on my Yamaha Raider. Woke that thing the fuck up. It pulls nonstop to redline. Waiting for this big overhaul at work to finish so I can get a couple days off to install the Big Air kit for it as well, supposedly does way more for power than the exhaust. But jeez I was starting to get tired of the big flat spots in the power band.....no such thing anymore. Comparable dynos had the power at about 84hp/105tq to about 100hp/120ishtq. Makes riding so much funner when im DDing the bike while the truck is down.

New on the truck, Gotta actually go park the truck on the street later today and disconnect the driveshaft to get the pinion angle and a bunch of measurements of leaf and shock placement to send to ECGS, since they are building a Dana 60 for me, custom length and SUA. Want to be able to just get the axle and bolt it in when it gets here.
