My tacoma audio upgrade

That is like anti bass. Zero dB gain would be fine across the board or maybe a dB or 2 from 45 to 65. You’ve essentially tuned ALL bass out of the subs.

 

If you want more, just adjust the gain on the output to those channels.

I would. Most I would do is a pull two eq points up a dB in the frequencies you want. One around 45 and another around 65HZ. That’s it.

 

do i leave it at a 12 or 24 slope.....its at 63hz that is what my doors are now...thank u!!!!!!

 

I would experiment with what sounds best for the music you listen to.

I don’t know if you have a DRC like the DRC 205? That’s what I have with my VX1000/5i and I can program a few different presets. So you can make one with time alignment set for driver and another for passenger or centralized. You can also control the sub gain and main volume gain on two separate knobs. So if you want different settings for different situations or music you can. I’m not sure if it works with the TWK88 or just the VX amps, but it’s helpful for me so I can experiment with different settings on different presets.

You can turn the gain up that you show at zero in your last picture.

Also, if you have a knob for the sub on the DRC make sure it’s turned up

Yep that’s them. Link them together by clicking the two boxes next to them, then turn the gain up.

So far the sub is playing and started blending in with the sound..I have to drive 3 hours tomorrow for a small vacation and this gives me time to play the system..I was wondering is there a way i can bump up sub a little?I tried the gains and i did not notice anything to much..I tried up to -2 and 3 but i was not sure if i was doing that right...Thank you very much!!!

 

I set my sub gain to 10db’s then I use the DRC to adjust according to what I’m listening to.

 

Hmm let me look on my twk now..I seen the gains for db but it was letting me only go -

 

That is probably right and im just not smart enough to figure that out...lol!!!!

 

It might be different. I have the digital processor as part of my amp and that may have different capabilities?
