Outplayed the blues for the first 45 minutes apart from a couple mistakes. Binnington was just unreal tonight and then the wheels fell off the last 10 minutes.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been out there but have vacation plans for July. We’ll be in Granby most of the time, a couple days in Estes Park, Boulder, Denver...I’m excited but wish I was driving the truck out.

It seemed like someone had a lazer pointer and kept shining it in the bruins eyes when they were about to shoot. Tons of missed opportunities and the blues to advantage of as much as possible, most their goals were quick transistions where the bruins were messing up.

@tacobell007 yeah we aren't up there anymore, we are lowlanders now!

We flew into Denver and then from Denver to a small airport that would have been a 3 1/2 hour drive. On that flight looking out the window I regretted not driving from Denver, the scenery was amazing. My wife asked me if next time we go out there if we could take the truck the whole way and get 'one of those tents on the trucks to camp in along the way.'. Like any good husband I said 'Sure, i'll start doing some research on those tents that go on top of trucks'.

That’s awesome, next maybe she’ll say “you know dear, those tires look a little small on the truck”! Cha-Ching!
I had actually begun negotiations to drive out with one daughter and back with the other and pick up my wife and other kid in Denver. That way I’d get my road trip, one-on-one time with my kids while they still think I’m cool, we wouldn’t need to rent a car out there, and maybe save money on flights...then we priced airfare. I could not get to Chicago for what we paid for direct round-trip flights.

    God dammit Bruins.

I am nervous about that too, but the moose and deer you see are usually right on the trail and they don't wanna get off it no matter what. Just this year I sat for about an hour outside of Patten waiting one out. She was just pooping chestnuts and chewing on shrubs on the side of the trail. No way she was getting off that hardpack and she didn't give a shit about my being there.

I'm tempted to drive the truck out there, would be amazing wheeling opportunities I'm sure. Plus I've never done a big road trip like that so it would be a cool experience overall!

Took it easy the first half of the day after being up (what I consider) late with the bruins. Rain made it easy since most my work is outside. Used the late afternoon to finish cutting boards for the bridges and then I used a log drag chain from tractor supply and got all the logs in place. Doesn't look it in the photo but the bank is pretty steep and riding down that was pretty iffy, luckily the weight of the logs in back kept me from flipping:thumbsup: Finished the second bridge (minus the runners) and have everything set and ready for the 3rd. Will finish that all tomorrow and finally be done. I will clean up the ends and try to get them all even, then put the runners on the edges. Happy to be done and happy to not have to wade through water everytime I walk the dogs. Next round of bridges will be fancier, these primitive ones will work for the foreseeable future.

    Thanks!
Where we live the land was relatively cheap, the town doesn't really offer anything else but a school. No police, volunteer fire, a barely functioning town government that only has part time workers etc....

The problem is since we bought our land about 3 years ago, I've noticed that prices are steadily rising, which doesn't really help any of the locals and is going to make it harder for us to expand our holdings down the line. Just gotta hope the new people that come in are here because of those things and not thinking they can "improve" the town.

    Morning chowderheads!

CT and NY peeps are invading more and more every day. Thankfully they are usually too self absorbed to get their fingers into local govt. or anything like that, but it does drive property values up. Good and bad.

I got my E rated Mich Ltx At2's on the GMC yesterday. They are different tread than the P rated At2's I put on the Yota last. Or maybe they just seem like it since these are a bigger size? Meaty tire with meaty tread. E rated tires really handle different. Truck used to be wishy washy with the stocks but now it's like it's on rails. Hopefully the stiffer sidewalls make for a better towing experience.

Saw lotsa bikes headed north on I93 on my ride south to work today. Anyone doing anything good this weekend? I'm headed to Maine.

Well I'm supposed to get my boat parts in the mail tomorrow, but the gasket sealant that I use has a 24 hour cure time. So I'll get it put back together tomorrow, but won't be able to test it until Sunday. Which is Father's day, and we'll be spending that day making the rounds, which means I'll probably only have time to test it on the muffs and not in the water.

Well, at least you'll get it wrapped up. Sunday is supposed to be questionable weather anyway. I am supposed to play golf with the old man on Sunday but we'll see.
