If you get rid of the fender liner and get spc control arms and max out the caster you could probs do it with a 2 inch lift

 

I watched last line of defense’s video on fitting 35s. He stated he can’t stuff his tire in his wheel well, but he did fit them. To be fair, fitting 35s and wheeling with 35s are different things.

@stronghammer will tell you how much it takes to fit 35s for wheeling

 

I can run a skinny tire 255/75/17 with a mild lift and no chopping. Isn't that a 33" inch tire?

 

I ran 255s and still had to chop.

 

It’s a 32. 255/80/17 is a 33

 

We’re you running spacers?

 

That's funny, there are folks in the Skinny Tire thread that say they are running 255s on stock suspension.

 

@Sandytaco14 ran 33” skinnies on stock suspension. Not sure how much wheeling he did with them before the lift went on though.

Awesome Mark, thanks bro! I was about to do some process of elimination, but looks like you did it for me! I know offset and backspacing affects what size you can run without rubbing. I'm positively certain that I will not run a tire bigger than 32" or 33".

Jba's much better quality and you can get up to 5°+castor if you so choose

I was JUST looking at that! I narrowed it down to those 2, but didn't understand positive and negative offset, but with your explanation, it makes sense now. Negative offset pushes your wheels away from the truck.

Also i havnt cut front fenders

 

SPC been great for me so that’s all I know about right now. Now especially that they went to the one piece design. I have the older model though because I got them right before they came out with the newer ones.
