Well I got my u-joints replaced by a local shop that just does toyota and beamers, I even tried giving him the Toyota instructions and he handed them right back to me... well got my truck back took it for a little drive, come home and the tranny is leaking from the rear seal, and the carrier bearing bracket is upside down..... are you fucking kidding me!:rant: So now I got to go back and see wtf, so my question is, did he fuck up the rear seal or something? I have already done the rear seal TSB so i know its not that

Zerks are a good thing. The sealed ones fail, because they cannot be greased.

Plus its good to grease them before and after going offroad that requires water crossing.
This way grease won't let water in and afterwords grease will push any water out that did manage to get in. Its just a precaution. :)

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
How do you put a carrier bearing on upside down? That takes some skill.

They dont come with them stock, but when they replaced mine after my carrier bearing went out they put on zerks. n my opinion they are much better then the sealed!
