    I’m sure my mom would.....

When my brothers and I where kids she tried to get off brand cereal and put it in the name brand box. It didn’t work because we could tell the difference.

I had a very similar encounter with the police a year or two later than yours. There were lots of times I should have gone to jail, but only went once for something totally lame. I was racing a buddy on my bike and got stopped and booked into jail for reckless driving (probably about 90+ in a 40 zone). I was required to do community service which turned out OK. Rode around in a city truck with a plumber getting high and helping him unplug drains at the fire stations. He gave me a glowing review which helped with the judge.

I somehow slid under the DWI radar when I was younger but not from lack of being pulled over. Small town cops kind of let things happen back then. The only jail time was when 7 or 8 of us were throwing bottles at signs while driving down a hiway. And that was just for a couple of hours. The stupid things you do...

I must admit though, depending upon the brand of the "off-brand" pop tart, they sometimes taste BETTER. I noticed the chocolate off-brand have more filling. Worth it.

Dont fuck with strawberry with frosting though. Pop Tart brand has that shit nailed. Nobody competes.

I used to sell pop tarts in high school.

My locker had an outlet in the back of it, so I plugged in a toaster. Started bringing boxes of pop tarts to school and toasting them before classes. People started offering me money. So, I started slanging.

Oh yeah, beer bottles and highway signs.

I dunno if it's even available anymore...but... Piels Real Draft Quickies.
7 oz bottles shaped kinda like a hand grenade.
    Those were the best. :)

    Yeah, different times.
Small town cops would admonish you and let you slide for youthful hi jinks.

Mind you, putting bullet holes in highway signs would definitely land you in trouble.
And, no, I didn't do that personally.
To this day I laugh when I see bullet holes in signs on lonely stretches of highway.

As long as it's the original, real-deal bug.
Not that steaming pile of crap ("New Beetle") that was so bad, they had to discontinue it a few years ago.
