In the process of downsizing from a Ford F150, and have found a a 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road in the Cement color with 1,800 miles on it . It has the premium package , and the Technology package , and its pretty much fully loaded . They are asking $38,300, out the door $40,600. Was wondering if this is a good deal or not ?? I also live in PA .

I paid $35.600 two weeks ago for a brand new trd off road 4x4 6mt with tech package.

It seems high for me... for 40k I would get a brand new one..

I would haggle with that price. I bought mine back in February with 115 miles on it for 36k out the door with Premium Package and Tech Package. At least see if they can bring it down a few thousand dollars. They can waive any "dealer" fees they add on and with the 1800 miles they can figure something out to get that price down because it's obviously not brand new

    That’s high.

I bought my 2018 with tech/premium for $36,550 purchase price. Out the door price is going to vary by state, etc. Mine is a DCLB, so a bit more expensive. You should have some negotiation room

1800 miles is brand new. o_O

That's fair market price. See if you can find a scratch somewhere and talk them down 1k, but otherwise, I don't think that's a bad deal at all.

Definitely bring the price down. Otherwise walk. 1,800 miles sounds like a demo or slightly used even. Check prices for the same configuration on cars.com and look across the country for asking prices on new and then email a couple dealers. You would be surprised how flexible the price can get.

What was your price of the actual truck, OTD is going to vary for everyone based on trade, ttl, fees, down payment, etc.

But OP, I would say go new. I bought that same truck (TRD OR DCSB 4wd tech and Premium in Cement) for $36k after the military rebate last December. I traded it last month for $35k for my current sport and also paid the same.

    No way, terrible deal.

Paid $35k and change + TTL a couple weeks ago for my brand new 4WD TRD OR with tech.

I bought my 17 from them but after I wrote a yelp review about their slimey practices, they are pretty shady, there’s better options in the PA/NJ area. I had a great experience with my 15 buying from Scott at Laurel Toyota in PA.

For one with miles on it, they should be asking for 35 MAX out the door. If they don't budge, get a new one man, tech packages suck anyways.

MSRP on a brand new Taco with those options is roughly $41,500. You should be able to get anywhere from 10-13% off MSRP, which would bring the sale price to $37,350-$36,105.... Taking that into consideration, $38k for a used truck with 1,800 miles is too much.

A fair price, IMO, would be $33-35k (max) before taxes, fees. Makes absolutely zero sense paying more than the price of a new truck.... unless it was previously owned by Jon Voight and your name is George Costanza.

The negotiated price before TTL, trade, down payment, fees, etc. OTD is useless in comparing prices because of all those variables.

He’s not going to get that price on a new cement DCSB 4wd OR with BOTH tech and premium packages, maybe $35-36k but that’ll be with some effort.

$33-35k would be an OR with just tech only or without tech and premium.
