I graduated High School in 1980. No computers, no cell phones. We had to pass notes and cheat sheets the old fashioned way. I can't even imagine what school must be like these days. I know several kids that don't even go to school. They take classes online. How does that even work? Google is the ultimate cheat sheet. With no teacher to catch you. It's definitely a new age.

 

Home schooling is a terrible choice in my opinion. Some have no choice though. School is not only learning about the subjects taught, but also how the world really works, people and socialization. People are mean, rude, nice, pleasant ect.... a ocean of shit to wade through. If they don't learn how to conduct themselves in society early.... what do you really have?

 

Passing notes I remember that

 

They learn social interaction from discussion forums, chat rooms and facebook. Where everyone is always on their best behavior and very helpful and caring towards their fellow man.

 

No. I stay away from the microwave unless I'm reheating something. That is rare.

I guess you could say I nuked two. But the toaster almost caught on fire... set the fire alarm off and everything.


Should note the toaster was probably about 18 or 20 years old and didn’t work after....



This is also the only time I have really fucked up at fixing any kinda food.
