    Afternoon fellas :hattip:

    Looks awsome Mark
I believe I paid right around 4 grand for both eyes, but like others have said you might be able to shop around. You would think the procedure would get cheaper as the years go by but that's not always the case. $5300 doesn't sound too bad but you can probably find it cheaper. I know you're pressed for time so you may not be able to shop around too much. Maybe if you can at least find one place that is cheaper to can negotiate a little . Good luck brother

That'll probably help with it evened out. As far as where we're going ... who knows.. into the mountains is about as accurate as I can say. Maybe as far as Idaho.. maybe not depending on time. I have 3 weeks off, so it will also depend on how long we stay at places. We're just gonna Gaia it around and see where the wind blows us. My buddy is moving to north Idaho on Sat, so if we make up to yellowstone like my wife wants to do, then we may head his way if there is time. I don't want to get out on the highway and hammer down.. I just want to mosey along back roads and trails and still allow enough time to mosey back. I'm sure we'll throw in some national parks here and there when we're close etc. Probably mostly stay in remote camps, with a camp that has showers here and there. Maybe even a hotel or two if we hit any long stretches of rain or something. That's about the extent of my planning. I seldom make travel plans.. and just go explore wherever I/we feel like going next.

Very cool, sounds like fun. I know myself and wife are planning some things but it won’t happen this year, but when we go it will be a 2-3 week trip so we will be the same way but will hammer down the highway to a certain point then just bounce around accordingly.

 I can afford it, I just found it more noticeable than I thought it would be. I keep an eye on my ultraguage and surprisingly it's about the same .. just maybe a little less getting up to speed. But cruising speeds seem to stay about the same. And downhills... lol, soapbox derby time! Ha ha. Eventually I'll regear, but for now it is just what it is. I'm kicking around the idea of a snomaster before we leave, so gears will have to wait a little while longer.

Yeah, gotta hammer on out of Texas.. lol. Not that there isn't anything to see etc, but I've done the west Tex loop, as recent as '16 or so. I'll probably peddle my ass off until NM at least. :burnrubber:

Yeah, my first target is Royal Gorge. Last time I was close by.. in '14 I think, they had it closed for renovations etc. So, I may head that way first and then probably head in the direction of Yellowstone from there. How long it takes between the two is the real question. We'll have the kayaks with us too, so we'll likely spend some time finding places to use them. I'll probably take my fly rods as well, so if the fishing is good .. we may not get away. No kiddos on this trip, so just me and the Mrs.
