No worries bro... I absolutely know this can be a dramatically changing situation. Let me know if there is anything we csn do... and if there's an evening that she ends up where she's going to be staying down this way, let me know.

    Thank you very much.

All the nurses in NCCU are great. They have great Ortho as well. I compound fractured my elbow a couple years ago on a dirtbike. Pieces of all 3 bones sitting in the dirt and forearm completely spun around 180, stretching and tearing the nerve. Finally got to the ER at Doctors and the ER docs came over to me and said none of them wanted to try and fix it since the bones were so broken up, but they knew someone who could if I was willing to wait for him. I guess he was off work for the week and came back just to do my surgery. 2 surgeries, 22 screws and big ass plate. 2 years later and my arm is at 75% and all the hardware is removed and all my fingers work. I have a Uncle thats a radiologist and he was impressed. Anyways DR. Pistel at Stanislaus Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine is a badss Dr.

We didn't make it to Bourland Meadows yesterday, so I'm thinking about going up and finding a backroad route over there from Cold Springs (on 108).

We'll have to drop by my spot on the way... Jen was hella jealous we went there yesterday, and it's greener, right now, than she has ever seen it.

Haha no shit, at least 3 times now. I typically start my commute onto 120/5 right there at Yosemite and start my grind into the bay.

Im thinking a trip to my home away from home in two or three weeks. I need to get some fishing in before my little lake gets fished out for the summer.

Also working on a gardnerville trip this summer to fish the river before it gets too low.

    @rob1208 @Papadave418

Looks like it's going to be Thursday. My plan is to bomb straight to Mr. and Mrs. Uphillshunter's "spot." I noticed there hasn't been any traffic through there and it appeared there was some road clearing that needs done between our actual spot and the trailhead.

We can make it in to that area in a matter of 90 minutes from Oakdale. There's only about 1/2 mile of road from our spot to the trailhead.

After that, I'd like to blaze a backwoods trail from that area towards Bourland Meadows.

From what I saw last weekend that can be an adventure. The roads have not been even near completely cleared. We could encounter impassable snow, mud, tree fall, boulders, high water, Sasquatches... maybe even a Yeti. (btw... I forgot to tell those who went to our spot with us last weekend, that it's apperantly supposedly a pretty well known sight for those in the Sasquatch seeking community :notsure:)

There are quite a few different roads to choose from though. We had to turn around and find alternate routes for our trip Sunday as well. Let me know if you want to convoy with us... that goes for all the other hooligans in this thread.

not going to be able to make it after all. decided best to just save some PTO and go back to work. Hopefully I can tag along on the next one. The truck hasn't seen dirt since December.

I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s off regularly. I’m usually looking for somewhere to go those three days. I still have a bunch of work to do on my truck but let me see what’s going on with my wife's work schedule.

This week has spun out of control with traumas. I’ve got work now. Just got home tonight because a guy went for a ride on his Harley after getting drunk.

Well... looks like Jen and I are going it alone then. We're going to see about doing a bit of road clearing, then we may do a bit of hiking.

lol... that pond was 100% bone dry to dust last year by end of hunting season. I had never seen it go that dry.

Now I've never seen it that full.

The first pic of the creek is where we normally walk across the bank and make a small hop across the creek, to go back farther in, during hunting season.
