I came pretty close on the 1st choice. The great recession was pretty much a kick in the balls for me. I graduated right into the shit-show, my job assignment ended and was pretty much dicked down hard like a newbie sorority girl at a frat mixer. In late 2011 the only things I had left were a Honda Accord, my tools, an iMac and a mountain bike. It got so tough I sold all my furniture and I had nice shit. I thought about committing financial suicide and cashing out retirement accounts, but didn't want to get boned on taxes. I stayed the course, survived and came out ahead.

I should try to sell my liver. I mean....the alcohol content alone should be worth a new truck.
