    Does anyone know a way to make the seats in a 1st gen go back farther. It is the only complant that i have about the truck is that seat doesnt go back far enough.

    Don't know, and this might be a really dumb reply but...

    Couldn't you, with some decent fabrication, just move the mounting points back further?

    I would think that your would be better off to ether some how extend the seat rail. Or build new brackets or something to extend the whole seat back. Because if you try to remount them then you are going to have to drill holes in the floor and all that stuff.

    You could alway just cut some new holes in the fire wall and floorboard to put your feet in!!

    You could always do like Hightower did in Police Academy...Just REMOVE the front seat all-together, and sit in the back!! You do have an access cab after all.
