Ive got 5100's in the rear to support my lift and I think they are great! As nice as the stage 3 ICON lift with rear reservoirs, leafs, and front shocks would be the 5100s have been treating me very nicely

So they likely won't reimburse anything worth for what those parts cost from what I'm tracking since it isn't covered under the actual insurance. They'll likely give you the quote for stock truck parts and that is it.. but I haven't had any biff into my truck yet (knock on wood) so it's just my general assumption.

Hard to tell from the picture, but I cant see it being totaled unless the frame got bent. Looks like your axle separated from the u-bolts and your leafs and shocks probably got tweaked a bit. As well as a new driveshaft because that clearly got fucked. Plus bedside and bumper if that got bent too.

Not always the case. Some companies cover up to a certain amount of aftermarket parts regardless of whether or not they are stated beforehand.

Haha you and me both, lets go buy one, then take a week off work and just install them. And while we are at it do the 4x4 conversion for my truck, and ill also go ahead and buy some long travel, prerunner bumpers, tire rack, roof rack, 32x12 tires and call it a project truck complete

Ya like I said I never personally have had any sink their bumper into my truck but I know for some companies they won't reimburse you for the parts.. I've only ever had Geico so I don't know who does and doesn't reimburse. Just chuckin my two cents out there as a precautionary :) also I'm fairly sure I saw you driving this morning around work lol

Word of warning: Get rid of GEICO if you plan on offroading. I only ever had geico until I called them to quote my aftermarket parts about 6 months ago, when they told me they they will not cover a personal vehicle offroad. They pretty much told me that if they find out I offroad, they will drop my coverage. I immediately told them to drop my coverage at the end of the month and called USAA. My monthly cost went up, but after my phone call with USAA and how helpful they were and 100% told me they would cover me for anything (except competitions) I will never use anybody else.

And its very likely you did. I took the 4runner to work today because didn't feel like moving my stuff over to the subaru.

Hmmmmmmm may have to change that.. how awfully did the price go up? Cuz I already pay a fair amount for Goliath.. Not too bad for a price but I mean.. I gotta have money for truck parts lol. *You can just text me after work and let me know the price change if thats easier

Ya it was for sure you lol but I was a ways away so I doubt you saw the truck.

Nah, just add a few whoops to the road up there, that will filter out any cars/people that are unworthy.

If totaled, buy it from the insurance company and fix it, or sell it to me  . It is an offroad pakage right?

Its hard to say because we also bought a second vehicle around that time. I think it was around another $50 a month for the 4runner.

I definitely did not see you. lol

Ya I wasn't nearby lol. I'll take a look at quotes this weekend. I'm not TOO worried with offroading and coverage just cuz she's my daily and I don't plan on jeopardizing the integrity of being able to get to point A and B just for some fun (granted, I'll take some trails here and there and have fun but im not gonna ramp over some crazy rocks or anything just yet). I'll probably worry more about it after I get another Tacoma or a different daily and then Goliath becomes the for fun toy lol

I hope you’re right, fingers crossed there’s no frame damage. It was a pretty low speed collision so hopefully I got lucky

Ive got USAA and without including aftermarket parts, which I didn't know I could get insured! I pay about 180 a month for insurance
