No rubbing, even at full lock. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge with us. I needed tires badly and didn't know which ones to buy. You guys really did help me tremendously on my purchase. Next... My lift.

I’ve seen guys in other threads with lifts. Just search the 255/85/16, you find a variety of setups

well dang brother, ill take what I can get. side on is fine, whatever you'd like to share. mostly im concerned about the experience of the tire more than the look.

255/85r16 BFG KM3 on stock EVERYTHING (skinny-no-rub... yet)
I pulled the trigger on skinny's and love it!!
    BFG KM3's - 255/85r16
Stock EVERYTHING else and mud flaps front and back, no rub so far... have a feeling I'll have to lose the fronts when I start hitting the mountain trails again.
Gained about 1.5" height (very noticeable to me on look and feel). I lost 4mph at the speedo from about 45-65mph (@45 it reads 41), been checking it with GPS Speed apps and then had a friend pace me (haven't been hwy speeds 75mph and ^ yet). Have 40 miles on the tires and lost 2 mpg... was averaging 21.3 mpg, now getting 19.7 in the city daily driving to work and home (about 10 miles on mostly inner city highway; 55-mph zones). Getting an alignment for peace of mind and to differentiate between taller-thinner tire ride and taller-thinner tire effect on truck... will report back soon or you can search this forum if you can't wait for results (I'm sure it's been posted a-bazillion times in here).

    MVIMG_20190620_064630.jpg

(Below) Tire to UCA space... it's about 3/4" on pavement... will post update at full flex when I get a chance
    MVIMG_20190619_104512.jpg

(Below) Can't tell, but wheel is turned about 75%... this is the closest it gets to the front mud flap... has most room at fully turn and straight (no pic for those)
    MVIMG_20190619_104411.jpg

This one just because I like it... heheh (sorry images so big)

Not sure if the short bed is different
Guessing the short bed has a different spare compartment than the long bed. My spare is not going to fit at all with out cutting, and exhaust work.

Lol luckily no inspections in California. I have it in the bed for now, tired down. Afraid it might get jacked though.

Yeah, my truck is a long bed. It buts up against the driver side shackle/mount for the leaf, the exhaust heat shield, and the two metal brackets meant to hold the original spare in place.

If I move the exhaust over a couple inches I might be able to maneuver the tire past the brackets, but I am not sure. I think they might have to be relocated.
