I'm so frustrated with my area here in Alabama. For the past month the only special things in stock are Michters Rye and 1792 Full Proof. Utterly pathetic.

The rarest thing I could even coax out of a secondary who plays friendly, is an EH Taylor Small Batch.

I guess I need to road trip it on the weekends to GA or FL, unless I can find someone to ship here under the radar.

Of course, I had a VERY generous pour of Buffalo Trace last night while watching the NBA Finals and that was pretty damn good, too.

My bar was getting low on whiskey so I went out and got a small variety. Never tried the High West Whisky before but heard good things about it.

I wish! I have a 15 year IB (Duncan Taylor) Highland Park cask strength and it's one of my favorite drams. I bet that 16 year Thor is awesome.

Naw, neat or over the rocks, just make it a short pour, a wee dram, you’ll be fine
