So sad to see such a beautiful part of the Superstitions burning. Just hope it does not blow up in a E/NE direction and head towards Reavis Ranch

This is about where the fire started in the near view and to the right

    Per Inciweb
"Donations: The Arizona communities have shown great generosity and interest in the fire, however, donations of baked goods, food, and other commodities are not allowed due to health guidance procedures. The Incident team encourages residents to visit with their local volunteer firefighters, city firefighters, the United Way or Red Cross. "

Think the best bet would be cases of water or gatorade and prepackaged snack foods like cliff bars, granola bars or trailmix to local fire stations like Queen Valley
1494 E Queen Valley Dr, Queen Valley, AZ 85118 Phone (520) 463-2913 if you want to call first to confirm.

I have also seen another community lead donation center at Lost Dutchman Realty 185 N Apache Trail Apache Junction 85120 Also asking for the same as above.

Edit: my vote would be call the Q.V. Fire Station first and see what they say, so much conflicting info coming out about what they can take, and I'd rather give directly than to a 3rd party.

It's not good. AZT is currently closed in passage 18/19 over 10k acres 0% contained. Rogers Trough TH burned Woodbury TH burned, trying to save JF ranch. I believe heading in towards rogers canyon today which would suck if the ruins get hit.

Lumens lost to pieces of grille, 0/10 could not obtain release.

Hey so, I guess this is just a general question for people who have gotten PPF done, who did you use/what brand was installed and how happy were you with the installer and/or product?

So I'm sitting here waiting for my Snugtop Rebel to get installed and got time to kill to share this smallfuckingworld story. Typing on phone so forgive typonese.

Ten years ago I was younger and dumber and stupider and had decided that I was gonna get a VW/Audi of some sort. I looked at GTI's Jetta's and A4's. Thankfully for my wallet I never ended up picking anything up, but there was one car that appealed to me enough to go test drive.

The car was a black Audi A4 1.8t 98.5 (had an updated engine but was still drive by line instead of wire). The car had suspension, wheels, BBK and all the VWAG swag bro bs already on it and my dumbass loved it. Manual to boot, and the best part was it was right in my neighborhood.

I talked to the owner and he had time to kill at work so he invited me to meet him there. He was a hair stylist at Vidal Sassoon and seemed like a pretty chill guy. I was shit at driving stick (but wanted to learn!) so he drove and we chatted. He mentioned he was selling to get a Tacoma for mountain biking and that was about all I remembered. My bank blissfully denied loaning me the money to buy it, I let him know no deal and that was the end of that.

Fast forward to today and I'm pulling into the parking lot to get my shell installed. There sits a Black second gen with ARB bumper, sliders, K02's etc. Looks simple and clean.

Anyways, up rolls a Hyundai and out comes a guy and a girl and sure the fuck enough its this guy I met 10 years ago for a random second. He heads inside to chat about details after looking over his truck and when he comes out I ask him about his sliders. Like any proud owner he lets me know whwre he got them. Then I ask if he ever worked at (hair salon) and owned an Audi A4. He looks at me like I'm an alien and says "Yeah".

We laughed about it and he told me more about his truck and we parted ways after crossing paths in a weird and random way yet again.

Hahah well I will tell you something, I never for one minute imagined that I would become a “civic enthusiast” but the Si is brilliant, and brings back all the GTI feelings from ages ago. I think it’s an apt assessment that some reviewers made, that both the Si and Type R punch way above their weight, the R is on par with things like M series BMWs and the Si can handle cars you’d imagine would dust it.

I’m doing my best not to catch the modding bug too hard on it, and stick to just basic bolt ons or cosmetics.
