Rigid Fog light problem

I have a 2006 Tacoma TRD offroad and I just installed a bumper and added the rigid fog lights and bought the wire set up from caliraised so I could use the stock wires from Toyota to go to the Rigid lights. When I plug it all in nothing works. I tested the lights and they work fine but when I use the splitter it doesn't. I pulled the plug apart on the splitter and use the two prong things and mixed them around to see if the wires where backwards and nothing. I'm not sure what to do. Is it the splitter or something else. TIA

 

Did you figure this out yet? I have a 2010 and have new bumpers being shipped to me today. About to do purchase the rigid fogs and really don’t want to run into any problems with install. Do the Cali raised adapters work for our 2nd Gens or do we need something else? Appreciate the help

 

I ran into a bunch of corrosion issues using desutsch connectors that led to the fogs not working when I needed them to. In the VERY, VERY RARE event that I need to remove the bumper or fogs, I will cut the wires and re wire them. At least I know they will work 100% of the time when I need them to.

6+ months and counting since I found the corrosion and they stopped working. No issues since then.

With most OEM plugs all you must do is a polarity swap. Would say 99% of the time that is the problem, when connecting oem plugs to the original fog light harness.

 

Wow! Great info. Thank you all for the quick reply. One more thing I don’t have to obsess about. Love your truck geek house. I’m looking at the amber rigid pros myself and that pic sealed the deal. Now to the winch.....

 

On a separate note, I do have two Cali raised
light bars and a set of their ditch lights and absolutely love them. Also love the price. Recommend the SwitchPro as well to tie them all together.
