I think everyone my age, regardless of state grew up on The Dukes of Hazzard. Besides, I currently reside in south Jersey, it's not like I am a New York wanna be like the other half of this state.

But if it makes you feel better I am originally from Virginia.

You are absolutely right. I'm pissed at myself for forgetting to mention the horns. Thanks for catching that.

LQQK I love your sliders, p.s. do those wheels have an offset in order to fit those 285/70's in or are they the same offset as stock? In other words, i'm looking at the same lift you got but Id like to stick with my stock wheels and put roughly the same size tire you have on them. What do you think?

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
there's a newer charger around fayetteville thats the burnt orange paint, but got the 01 sticker and i think an american flag on it...i think...it is a travesty if its not the confederate...i guess they wanted to show the point, but not get the car keyed...lol

THANX, They have a offset different than stock. You will need a 1/2" spacer to clear your UCA's with that tire size.

yeah, i agree, you need the confederate flag on the top if you're gonna paint a charger like the General Lee, but you would probably have to end up painting it multiple times due to all the key marks...

And it is sad that the masses can't come to an understanding and realize that the Confederate Flag is about heratage not hate. I could rant more about the great un-educated masses but I guess we are already off topic.

They removed the flag entirely from the amt/ertl 1/25th model kit when they re-released it after the abortion that was the dukes of hazzard movie.

ND, more comments you would not have expected from a displaced Southerner turned Jersey boy??? :)

yup, you continue to surprise me maverick. I thought the movie was ok. a far cry from the TV show but some of the driving was completely aweseom....espcially what they did in Atlanta. I have to give the director props though, i fully expeced the General Lee to be without the confederate flag in the movie due to political correcness and all but to my surprise it was there.

I'm not even gonna get started on the heritage vs hate debate. Being from teh South you can guess where i stand on the argument but i can just see that snowballing into an all out brawl. Its a very sensitive subject for people on both sides of the debate
