Yes I am relatively new but have been lurking without an account for probably a year. I am trying to tone it down with the mods/upgrades as my wife is starting to catch on but everyone’s damn trucks on here are so beautiful I can’t help myself!

Question for you cover owners. How do yall seal the small gap (to prevent water intrusion into bed) at the front between the front rail and the bedside? I'll have to get pictures but on my truck there is like 1/4" - 3/8" gap (at least) on both sides of the front rail where it would butt up against the bed sides.

EDIT: I don't currently own a cover, just curious if I was to get one....what yall do to stop water for this area.

 

Extang MaxSeal - works with theirs and other covers. My Solid-Fold came with two square-shaped gaskets explicitly to go in that area at the bed rails. I then put the MaxSeal around the tailgate. Works well in keeping most water out.

My extang trifecta 2.0 came with the square shaped gaskets like CaptAmerica said, it keeps my stuff dry in heavy rain, one of my best purchases.

With the diamondback there isn't much gap at all. With that said I used a minimum amount of clear silicone and it's taken care of water leaks

I think it would be cool to have that accent strip be the same color as one's glove box letter vinyl inserts and door sill stickers if they also match.
