I got my lift put on today, so now I need an alignment. I seriously went to 7 different placed today and they all said that they would scratch my rims if they did the alignment. The last thing I want is to have my brand new rims scratched, but I really need to get my truck aligned.

Has anyone had their rims scratched from the alignment machine?

Its an honor if you do it yourself, not when some idiot does it trying to do an alignment.

When i worked at Tire Kingdom we would do lifted trucks all the time and never told anyone that.... The question is, how big is your wheels? Sometimes it was a bitch to get cars with 3 inches of ground clearence on rack that was about it.

Okay but it is a truck - borrow your buddies rims for the alignment if it hurts too much!

I doubt it'll scratch, I took my brother's F150 to get an alignment, his wheels are painted (not from factory) and didn't get scratched, heck I took the truck twice because they didn't get it right the first time and they did not get scratched.
