Throw out bearing would make sound when you have the clutch pressed in (engaged). Input shaft bearing will make sound at idle with clutch disengaged, trans in neutral (or basically any time the input shaft is spinning).

 

My truck has been there for a while now. I hoping to get it back before next weekend because I wanted to go out camping, but I guess I will have to wait for weekend after that.

Greedy scumbag motherfuckers are never getting my business again so long as I can avoid it. Had to cancel one connecting flight I booked months ago, but they wouldn't do it without "reissuing" the other two flights and charging the difference for their "current rate" which is almost $500 more per person. I learned a lesson with this one.

Good luck, mine has done this as well. Doesn't leak that bad but leaks non the less. If you get them to cover it I would be surprised .
Edit say you said they will.
What's the lenght on warranty.
I'm sure mines not covered.
It's a few yrs old now.

 

Hahaha I have the mounts, just gotta get the actual bumpstops ordered

 

I wouldn't mess with it if it is a small leak and compressor is coming on every couple of minutes, but mine had major leak where it was spitting out fluid and compressor was running continues.
ARB provided 5 yr warranty on air lockers

Any thoughts for a good shop in the East Bay? I’m in Oakland, near Mills College.

Have a weird clicking noise about a half second after I hit the brakes, like there’s something loose, but everything looks ok when I pull the wheels. Also have a transmission rattle when shifting and going over bumps, could be TSB-0365-10

So, looking for someone trustworthy to do front end/transmission work (could also use an alignment)
