Y’all should just get serviceable RX350 retros anyways :)

I’m sure these lights are awesome. I look forward to y’all getting them in after this wait and posting pics (dSLR type).

Just need to wire in the sequential turn signal harness into the fuse panel.

Nice! I’m not understanding the need to tap into the fuse panel. It has to go through the firewall to under the dash or into the panel in the engine bay? Plug and play definition varies I guess from my understanding....

    Thanks for posting first pics!

Funny, I’ve seen to have quickly forgotten the extra $25 it will cost me in shipping:spending:

That’s odd. My set do sequential or flash by just unplugging a wire in the back. No wires to run

    BTW nice fob;)

Did the harness come with it or was it an additional $250? :)

I guess they changed the design with the production models. I didn't unplug anything yet. Was just going by their instructions on the website.
Your new fob's are awesome. Thank you for doing what you do. These XB heads do match perfect with your ultimate turn signals. Puddle light install tomorrow.

The sequential turn harness came with mine. And is in their installation instructions i took a screen shot of.

To use the sequential turn option per their instructions you need to tap into an ignition source. Which can be done from the fuse panel in the engine bay.

    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/media/custom/upload/2016_Tacoma_Headlights.pdf

I followed this video since you technically don't need to remove the bumper shell completely.

I don’t think that harness has anything to do with sequential or not. It’s something for DRLs. Probably for trucks without OEM LED DRLs.
Sequential is just the plug or unplug of the wires.

Just curious- With the harness not connected on your truck, did you try the blinkers with the 2 plugs unplugged? Like in the picture.
    Shouldn’t that be sequential?

I have not tried that yet. I can give that a try now though . As i said. I was just going by the instructions provided on the TRS website i linked above. Which state's, for the sequential turn function, this additional harness needs to be run to an ignition-switched circuit in the engine bay fuse panel.

I disconnected the wire that the additional harness would plug into. And they still only blinked. I will wire this in tomorrow, per TRS instructions, and report back.

Totally worth the wait huh. lol! Man, the things we do to delete all the chrome from our truck.

The only thing left now is the inside door latch. I'm planning on doing some surface modeling design in CAD and have my buddy CNC it out of 6061 Aluminum and do a Hard Anodized. My only worry is since it will be made out of Aluminum, how hot will it be when parked outside? lol! After all, aluminum is a really good thermal conductor. Should be a very expensive door latch.
