Hey fellow San Antonians, anyone have suggestions on good shops in town for an alignment on the Taco?

Most folks seem to use a Firestone, because they warrant a regular align for a year at about $100 (allows 11 more, one per month if needed!), and you can get lifetime for about $180. so if you do a little roading, you can go back for free. Now, people have said not every store is the same.....

 

I and others have had multiple bad experiences at Firestone (not with the Tacoma but with previous cars)... I try to stay away from them. They changed a tire once on my previous car and didn't torque the lug bolts and the wheel almost fell off on the highway. I immediately pulled over as soon as I felt the vibrations and 3 of the lug bolts were already gone.

 

Like I said, stores vary. someone may know a good one near you. My local just left me a little dirty, but they did OK when I upgraded the front, and then back for the lift.

You know, I got one of them "fangled" car cams for Christmas. Went through three to get this one. Still don't know how to get video edited, because it doesn't come up supported. This is the FIRST time other than just viewing the chip, I have EVER wanted to get something. I made a big time trip to the ATM, then to WalMart this AM. It's 3 miles. So, I averaged ONE IDIOT per mile.

This person stopped in the middle of the block, then pulled ahead. I thought they were going to park on the right. Nope. Note the wheels turned in the front. U turn parking - stopped when they noticed a lit up truck.....


Got past them, and at the very next intersection; Mister Fancy Pants makes a sudden decision that he needs a Schlotzky's. Love the straight to the parking lot dive!



So, finally to Wally World. This is the same way some kid got me last year. Today, it's Mrs. WalMart! Can she even bother to go to the out lane, NO!



I really wished I could have You Tubed this three minutes of my life. In none of the video am I even gong over 20 mph!

 

People aren't chiming a lot tonight! But I know several people have used them regularly. So, if you need repeats, they are good. Other than that, being over in Lockhart, I don't know SA shops at all.
