I wouldn't know. Mine didn't come with the box. I had some peasants install it for me in Texas.

I guess so. One thing I didn't say though was this is when I bought my 2017 Sport. Things may have changed since then.

Their A-team is assigned to the OE ones.

I mounted mine under the truck as a t-case skid plate. It’s held up like a champ.

I think the salesperson, if on the up and up, might be refrencing the TSS bulletin, in a muddled way. That's about the best I can do with benefit of a doubt.
IME, the most Toyota ignorant people in the Toyota universe, are Toyota salesmen.

Self restraint! Don't need 80% of the shit we buy from there. Including a grill lol

A lot of dealers ask for a vin so they know they’re selling you the right part.

It cuts down on dumb ass owners ordering the wrong part and returning it.

I’m happy with my knockoff grill. $100 and has been great. No trip to the stealership, no hassle on VIN, and no $400 price tag. Also happy with my knock off PRO FN f(x) wheels.

Like the guy who cracks his Pro Grille and goes home from the dealer with a 16/17 TRD cheese grater grille.

Think, for a moment, how awesome the chrome cheese grater would look on a Pro. That’s the stuff of legends. Bet it’s never been done!

Unless you grow and hunt your own food, make your own clothes from hides, don’t participate in technology at all and never buy anything with metal or plastic parts in it, you are buying stuff that was made in China. Their products are everywhere.
