I was going to do that today but I had a power steering hose fail so now I've got to repair that then clean my engine

I think I might just pull the power steering off and go back to Armstrong steering LOL !!!!

Yeah long before. All you can eat catfish and seafood for $5 a person on Styrofoam plates with plastic silverware. With hush puppies. Moved up here and my oldest was about 12 and went to Long John Silver when they were still here. We all noticed hush puppies on the menu so we all ordered them. The oldest took one bite and yelled in a Southern accent these are NOT hush puppies! Everyone stopped and stared for at least a minute. It was a defining moment in my life LOL.

Yeah not classic rock but close enough! I like some meat on the bones myself 19 stones is pushing the upper limit myself LOL. On the other hand long hair does wonders it gives me something to grab on to. Have had a few say the same thing to me...

Back in the early 80's was a Leading Petty Officer in a middle rack and heard music from a Walkman from the new Boot in the lower rack below me. He had to trice his rack up in the morning and was a Rickie Recruit. Music was awesome and I reached down and pulled his beat off curtains back and said who the hell is that?! He was shaking and said Def Leppard Sir. Told him he called me Sir again I would have to beat his ass but his taste in music was impeccable. That is about the end of Classic Rock to me.

Personally I think you should post pictures of the rest of your back yard. It is something I can only WISH I had for grilling and cooking... Spent more than a few more years in Southern California and have no desire to go back. Except the weather. You have taken advantage of it and done exceptionally well IMO.

My father died of esophagus cancer it is why I am where I am. Got the call from a head hunter soon after and figured that I am not smart enough to cure it but could help support those that can and in the end it was worth it. Ideological ideas are great, real world not so much and ended up moving from research to clinical. You and your wife are not going through the same however remember well when my father had his esophagus cut and extended from his stomach to his throat. We have come a long a long ways since then. Best to both you and your wife!

First programming language in college was APL in 76, A Programming Language. Damn programmers. I get it stable and they break it. Every time. Change management is NOT optional either. But playing computer games with your sons? Priceless..

I'm sorry to hear your dad went out like that.

As for the back yard we are really happy about how it is turning out. We enjoy it daily and friends and family are impressed of the view and the good stuff we like to cook for them when they are over.

The star of the show is the Santa Maria pit BBQ. There is nothing like a wood cooked meal.

We had a lot of flagstone installed and the lawn still looks great after a year. I installed this grape trellis 6 months ago.

Today it is holding up two nicely growing Flame seedless grape vines.

The view from last year. I need to take n updated shot.

Good morning knuckleheads. Coffee is gooood. Moving slow as usual for Saturday, worked to hard yesterday. Left work a couple hours early, got truck serviced. When I got home jumped on the yard work, had dinner and fell asleep. I have turned into a Friday party animal, get off work, do yard work, drink a cold beer with dinner, fall asleep.:headbang:

Anyone is welcomed. You just have to accept our Golden Retriever's unusual way of greeting everyone into the family.

He is well trained at separating friends from loafers. Unless they want to play fetch.

Good morning all. Have to take, yet another, trip to one of the banks that my parents use to get the power of attorney papers straight. They say third time is the charm. We'll see.

Sometime today the lawn has to get cut.
Of course, we'll go play with the boat.
