I ride around in my Japanese truck with my from Japanese Wife. Then we get home I watch my Korean(Samsung) TV and scroll through this site on my Chinese made iPhone. Then get in bed with my sheets made in Bangladesh, in my underwear that was made in Malaysia.

The deal was done, dealer gave me this information unsolicited. My response was, why would Toyota leave money on the table and limit their parts that are hot sellers. My response was I can buy, guns, heroine, pussy but can’t by pro parts lol. Great experience with this dealership and took his comments with a grain of salt.

Btw, all sales will ask for a vin number before sale. Then tell you it's not compatible or won't fit your truck also.
Easiest way is to just get a vin from a pro and go shopping, but why buy from the dealer when there are much better options available.

Disagree, first I like other pro owners were not “hosed” , but rather getting a great deal,2500$ off MSRP is out there, hardly hosed. The numbers I received from the dealership sales and present and future allocators of pros. The total number of pros in 2018 was 10,000 units of pros. This year Toyota upped production to 12,000$ units. All these units are USA market. I’m a P car guy and have had a few GT3 RS. These cars are made every 3 or 4 years if all goes to plan. The last RS in 2016 had total USA production of 1,600units. My 19 Gt3 RS production has ended with 1,400 units again. In the total picture 12,000 pros are not rare. I’m only trying to put the production numbers in a reasonable context.
The choice is yours and mine.

Was told by the parts department at the dealer I bought mine they wouldn’t sell Pro parts either unless I had a Pro. When the on line sale was in April ordered a few things and had it delivered to that dealer for pickup. No problem getting it! Lol

At which point I'd have notified them that they'd just lost any future business of mine.

The SR grille is really the best looking anyway....

I thought I read that the OEM Toyota PRO grille was made in the US, anyone can confirm this?

If Toyota wanted this part to be exclusive to the Pro, they would make the attachment points different so the hood or some other major component would have to be changed to make it fit.

Funny how that works out isn't it? I had the exact same reaction when I swapped mine.
