    There will always be a weak link in any system. What we are doing is raising the ceiling (headroom) before the weakest link can show itself.
    I still run the 255 but may install a fuel pressure gauge so I can monitor FP from in the cab vs at the FPR.

    The fuel pump (FP) only supplies flow which turns to pressure when we restrict the outlet via (FPR). Everything that is in between the FP and FPR will become pressurized to the FPR adjusted value. So with this in mind, if you had say double the fuel capacity in this "pressurized region", then fuel pressure would actually remain more consistent because the pump wouldn't have to compensate for sharper fuel pressure spikes in the system. Pressure spikes are decreased because the fuel reservoir is larger and as long as the pump can keep up with demand at WOT , then the pump is adequate for the application.
    This follows closely with @Torspd's explanation but presented in a different way.

    @Roostfactor , could some basic math be done to establish fuel needs? Stock pump is good with a 3" pulley. 2.5 would need x more. Showing roughly where a 255lph pump sets us at? Like just a reasonable estimate. Whatcha think?

    Well, I’m in for FIC 650, just dont know what color, probably just raw. Black if I had to do a color. I will get the funds sorted out. How long do I have to decide on color? How to pay? I rather wait on more people to sign up to get the lowest price, but whatever.
