somebody told me yesterday i just need to get a 3rd gen and problem solved!

 

Thinking of installing a catch can for the oil. Do you think it would be a good idea to route the diff breathers extension to the same can?

Oh i have no idea about those. But i dont think you want to route the diff breathers to a catch can because you dont want positive pressure pushing on the line. Point of a diff breather is to release the pressure

 

The catch can would have a breather filter.

 

All ik is that the diff breather is just there to vent off the air as it gets hot then allows air to come in when cooling off.

When a diff heat it makes a positive pressure then when it rapidly cools it will make a vacuum

 

Beats me. Thats one of many stickers on the new frame.

 

maybe type in the frame serial # somewhere?

There is suppose to be one in the FL wheel well on the frame near the cab.

 

CRC prevents me from seeing anything.

 

It also sits right where a tire rubs on full lock. So its probably rubbed off on lots of guys trucks

 

Yeah mine was rubbed shiny right there. I had to repaint it.
