So there's a squirrel coming from my front suspension. Took me a while to find it what it was but I think I got it. The sway bar is rubbing up against my 700lbs coils. I'm thinking I could just grind the sway bar a wee bit to create a gap. What do you guys think? Anyone else had this issue? I feel like I shouldn't be the only one...

Google or do a search on TW for Sway-bar relocate kit.

I believe most people that add these types of shocks always use a Sway Bar Spacer to alleviate this issue.

Or do what most of us with 700lb coils do.. relocate the sway bar to the garage floor.

Mine did same thing. I found out that if I turned the u-shaped sway bar mounts around I gained 1/4 clearance. Don't know why it made a difference unless it's slightly offset but it did. No problems since.

Thanks guys, will try turning the mounts around. Seems an easy first step.

If you put that much money into off road performance, throw that sway bar into a dumpster.

I don't want to get rid of it just yet :p. Maybe later. For now I want to keep it on if possible. I get it though :)

Toyco sway bar relocation kit is on order but I won't be able to install it until the very end of June. Going to install that and see what happens, until then... The neighbors will continue to hate me...:rain:

So uhh. That sway bar kit was a waste of time. King actually built their front remote reservoirs with a built in sway bar relocation bracket built into the mount. I had to source the right screws for the holes (couldn't find the ones that came with them since I installed them like 2 months ago). But now the squeek is gone. Oh the silence is beautiful lol.

Now time to return this toytec kit I bought... :p

I have king suspension also. This is what I did. I have I noticed the same thing. Gained some clearance when I turned the U shape mounts around.

I was getting a clunk on severe articulations. Getting me very nervous because when the clunk happens I’m always in the middle of nowhere.

Old thread but I’m have this issue even with the sway bar relocation kit from kings. Was yours installed when you were having the squeak?

Why are you running a sway bar? Remove it and enjoy.
