Ok, so theoretically would I be trading, selling, or scrapping my POS Ranger to get back into the superior truck?

Nothing! love it. But I am not beholden to ANY brand. Tacoma will have to earn a spot in my garage with the next redesign IF they do something about the drivetrain.

I understand there are a lot of sensitive dyed in the wool Toyota fans. I prefer to buy the best vehicle at the moment. For me, that's the Ranger but I have not lost interest in Toyota The 4th Gen will have to earn my money.

My second gens were very good trucks. My old Rangers were very good as well. People can diss the Ranger and in the 5G forum, people will diss the Tacoma. It is what it is. Immaturity is evident in both Forums.

I'm not going to get in the dirt with the usual fanbois here. Ignore feature will keep me out of trouble. I suggest they do the same.

Nowhere did I say the 2020 was going to be a redesign. I expect the 4th Gen in 2025. Every 10 years Tacoma seems to be redesigned. Another ignored....

The only thing missing from your usual song and dance thread is the "I replace vehicles every three years bla, bla, bla..." line, better get it in there.

You miss one very important fact...
This is an enthusiast's forum. It is not common sense, it is not rational. It is a good place for those who enjoy Toyotas. Nothing else should be expected.

    This is fact.

He probably ignored me a long time ago haha. What I find funny is those who publicly admit that they ignore people means they have zero debate or confrontational discussion skills. They only converse with like minded individuals which means their opportunity to learn is extremely limited.
I find that funny for some reason.

Did you not get the price you wanted on a used Tacoma or what? I'm not entirely sure why you're asking about resale value here. Tacomas have high resale value because they have a history of being reliable and people are willing to pay for quality.

I was genuinely hurt when I took my TRD Pro to my GM only grandfather's house and he said "Dodge makes a good truck".
