Looks like it'd cost the price of transportation and a little gas in the chainsaw :crapstorm:

So if I round up to $100 can you deliver it this weekend?

Might also take some chloroform, a few ski masks and a really quiet ATV.

And... if you're making me responsible for retrieval, add a couple 0's to the end of that number and maybe we'll talk :D

In all seriousness though, @Bridge4, is that your handiwork?

So this was a 1st anniversary gift from the wife and I'm not sure how much it cost, I would guess a couple hundred at least, but I would be pretty shocked if were very close to 1k or more. It was actually done by a local MA guy, I guess he competes around the world in carving contests and what not. I'll go grab a few pics, it's really cool and when I'm stressed/have some free time at weddings I go chill there and listen to the stream.

edit: so the wife found him on CL I guess. The painting he did during delivery and I guess she said it took him like 45 mins max. I think he is super skilled and can put these out at a faster rate than we might assume.

So far so good. They were pretty good this winter--a step above the Hankook Dynapro ATMs I had on the Tacoma, but a step below a dedicated snow tire.

They've remained quiet too. I do notice some wear now and I was disappointed by that until I realized I already have about 18k on them (truck's already at about 30, I put these on at 12). The wear corresponds with them being about a third of the way through their life.

I'm thinking I'll run them this winter and next summer then replace them before the following winter. That should put me at around 50k on them.

A friend liked them enough to put them on his truck, and his father just bought a set for his Wrangler.

I'm at about 85/month on average. Most of the time it's just me, but the girlfriend often stays on weekends so two showers per day influence it somewhat because I have an electric water heater. Highest it's ever been is $110 and that was because I used my 6000 watt electric shop heater in the garage quite a bit.

Our rates are 23 cents/kwh (in my case, I typically use 350-400 kwh).

Alright who has done CV axles and went with CVJ? I gotta get mine done soon and think I’m headed in that direction since most aftermarket box store stuff seems hit or miss.

I always thought it meant only one driver was considered at fault. I think in RI, both drivers could be considered at fault depending on the accident. :notsure:

    Happy Saturday everyone.

Thinking about making some wooden kayak cradles for the Prinsu rack. Thinking I can do that cheaper than Bending some sheet metal. Think I should wrap the wood and put some cheesy astroturf around it or paint it and just let it ride? Trying to keep the wood from acting too much like a sponge

With the wife, and little one down south for now, my 2 wheeled toys are getting some much needed attention.
