That’s my truck, but I was coming from a Lexus RX and needed the bed and 4WD. I have grown used to leather, sunroof, heated seats and such, plus my fiancé wanted that stuff, too. I don’t rock crawl and I don’t hate chrome. I am 56 years old. I like luxury, camping, skiing, mountain biking, etc. plus, $40-50k for a vehicle isn’t a problem. When I was in my twenties, I drove VW Bug. I don’t do that anymore (well my toy is a 1981 Fiat Spider). Not everyone wants the same thing.

I like the hickory leather. IMO black interior is like having all white walls in your house, boring.

So a good question is who stepped the furthest outside the luxury stance of their Limited?

What’s the gnarliest, lifted, bro’d-out Limited on TW?

Bonnie will never bro out her Limited. She needs the low tailgate for antique fairs and garden shoppes.

Not going to claim mine fits the above description, but it sure doesn’t look like a Limited anymore:

Yeah. The TRD was not developed FOR racing but there is a lot of development that is on our trucks BECAUSE of that development. Same thing with NASCAR and lessons learned.

They figured out how to make a car engine go Zoom! in both cars and trucks.

If you could point out which parts of my TRD OR have racing lineage, I’d appreciate it.

Your engine to begin with. Yeah... It's not a racing engine. My point is that the lessons learned from racing eventually make it to the design of your drivetrain and suspension. They figured out what survives the race track or off-road course and used that experience to develop better stuff for the consumer market. It's not just Toyota. All manufacturers use the same method to develop and learn from building high end racing machines.

That’s how we got Ridgeline, too.

My limited works. Yesterday I had 6 sheets of ply wood, two of drywall, and a bundle of 2X4’s in the bed. On a weekly basis I tow our side by side and our ATV’s with it. I bought the Limited for the hickory leather, I routinely have customers in my truck.
So to review , I use my limited for:
    - Work
    -Play
    -Buisness

It also can fit a lot Grey Poupon in the bed. Lol

    Oh...and the build is coming.
