Nowadays it is. Your Proto wrench is made from 100% American Steel made on 100% American Soil. Can’t say that for a lot of things anymore.

 

You know some medical stuff is made from 100% American warship steel from ww2 lol

 

Actually, it’s pre-WWII steel. Pre-WWII steel found in deep sea shipwrecks have a very low radiation level versus all steel post-WWII. That’s why it’s used in medical equipment and scientific gear.

So I been looking for a DD since my first gen tundra is going to become my full time off roader eventually. I've stumbled across a few of these neat lil Nissan 3.3L supercharged Xterra and Frontiers. But they only make 210hp and 246lb•ft tq.


That's berely more than or stock 3.4L and less than a supercharged 2.7L.
Kinda disappointing. But they are so cheap and low miles.

I vote for X-Terra.

 

That's better then any of us with the 3.4L V6 are getting. 190HP and 220 ft-lb torque. lol

 

I just wish I could find one with a 5 speed and that o could find a decent forum to find out about mods. Those numbers are pretty weak for a sc v6

 

Why not a GX or a 4runner.

If you want a DD might as well get something more luxury to ride in

 

Not by much. A sc 2.7L gets 225hp lol not sure on torque. Maybe what's his face for AZ will chime in tho. I wanted to buy his truck so bad

Believe me those are at the top of my list. But money is the problem. And I just discovered these SC 3.3L nissans and they've managed to capture my imagination because how cheap they are and how low miles they have vs paying 2 or 3x for 2 or 3x the mileage on a GX or T4R
