2019 TRD Pro RIMS $

Just bought a 2019 Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD and looking at the TRD black pro rims . Dealer wanted $400 set $1600. Can you get these rims and cheaper or can only get them from a dealer ?

 

You can get them on FleaBay. They are cheaper than $1000 but they have raised prices due to high demand. They used to be cheaper than what they are now. Make sure they are authentic and also have the center caps when purchasing.

 

If you mean the ones that come on the TRD Pro Tacoma, I paid $208 ea. for mine. I got them from my local Toyota dealer in March of this year.

 

I see them listed online, new, for ~ $210 + shipping.

Personally, I like the SEMA look much better. They are cheaper, too.

Geez , one dealer wants $400 and another $208 . Big price difference .

You have to be careful though, that the center caps are included. Some do, some don’t. And depending where you are, some have free shipping and some don’t.

$400 wheel is robbery. Even the more expensive dealerships have them in the $225 range. I'm also looking for a set and found them for $180 at BAM Wholesale Parts online and will probably go this way if I can't find something close to that price locally.

 

Yes, BAM Wholesale Parts normally lists the lowest prices on OE parts, but be careful.

BAM advertises free shipping on orders over $75. Free shipping worked well when I ordered parts for my Dodge Challenger and Fiat Spider, but it wouldn't work when I went to order parts for my Toyota Tacoma; their website would tag on hundreds of dollars in shipping. It appears to be a glitch on their Toyota website.

I tried calling their 1-800 number but didn’t get anyone to pick up. Eventually gave up and bought SEMA replicas through Discount Tire for $166/each, free shipping.

 

They quoted $80 shipping for four. Gets them to $200 per wheel w/o tax. I'd go with the SEMA wheels as I really like them, but don't want to spend the extra on new tires at this point.

 

Got mine for 600.00 with caps shipped free durring the one day 40% sale. I'm sure the prices went up because they cleared a lot of stock out in that sale. No regrets on not getting SEMA's like everyone else.

 

You could also check out the FN wheels, fx model is a clone that is wider and lighter

 

That is for the 16" wheel. I am following along here looking for the 17" wheel. Anyone have the part number for the 17" trd pro wheel that will fit a 2019 tacoma? And online recommendations?

PTR20-35110-BK It says it fits a 2019 Tacoma trd offroad 4x4 double cab. When I go to Bam Wholesale the same part number and it says it does not fit. Which is it?

 

A lot of these tire wheel sites have algorithms which will discount sizes that are not the exact factory size. If that is a genuine Toyota wheel, it will fit.

How is everyone dealing with the tpms sensors switching to new rims? Never had tpms before!

 

No issues for me .... I reused the same/original sensors OR -> Pro

 

I had new ones put in. DT cut me a deal. can't remember exact price but somewhere around $15 ea which included all of the necessary programming. I could have had them take the old ones out and reinstall but that was going to cost the same as new ones. Not Toyota OEM though.
