I wouldn’t think that’s it. Is the overland cap a new design. I was told 6 months ago (by my dealer after the fact) that are was going through a lot of changes this past yr. - sharing a warehouse, and losing all the veteran employees. Which is why their time frames have more than doubled from what it used to be And why the quality has taken a huge hit… because they don’t have the people that know what they are doing anymore. That really made me feel good to know

    Hope the best for yours

Took it off road for the first time ever, nothing too wild just putting around the local ORV park. I need to take off the front airdam thing, tires rubbed on it a few times.

Both should be good out the box until it’s time to use the refresher if I remember correctly.

    :anonymous:
I didn’t read the box this time around when I installed them!

other than the best customer service on the plant? an essential mod here in the Northeast.
write down the programming/reprogramming steps and keep it in the truck ive had to do it a few times and since my brain works in a non-linear fashion it always takes me a few tries, watching the video.

    Appreciate the feedback! :)

Thats a bummer the Toyota safety feature kills your engine when you open the door.

Unfortunately, that is a 100% deal breaker for me. I guess I can scratch that off my "To Do" truck list :-/

    Thanks for the input!

Yeah it is. I'll probably pick the refresher kit up at my local Walmart before I need to clean the filter.

Half the value of going to lifetime filters is not having anyone try to show you your old filter and get you to buy new ones. Especially if you’re too lazy to change your own oil but insist on doing cabin and air filters yourself!

I had a focus with an oem remote start and the car would shut off when you unlocked the doors. I searched on youtube and found a way to reprogram it using the break pedals to scroll through a "menu" and ended up finding the proper settings so that I could start it, unlock it, open the door, put my key in the ignition and go. As long as I didn't hit the break before turning the key it stayed on. I'm guessing there is a similar way to program the Toyotas.

If I had my own place I would change my own oil. I live in the projects and the housing director will not allow people to change their oil in the parking lot. I don't know why not because most of these "piles" parked out here leak oil and various fluids on the asphalt anyways. But yeah the cabin filter is a easy change. Dealerships rob people to change them out. LOL!

I love my Gorilla locking lugnuts too. It felt great to show the service advisor my key and slip it in my front bibs pocket when I told him not to have my tires rotated during my 6 month check up. :)

Thanks, I've kind of been doing the same. Not trying to copy anyone specifically, but I love looking at all the stuff people here do and picking and choosing mods to match my style. And yes, you can't see it in those pics, but it's got quite a few pin stripes down the sides.

Had a few parts stock piled. The Boy and I changed out the mirror turn signals to the ME-SO smoked signals, and a set of Oem paintable mirror housing covers. I kind of like the contrast against the SW paint. Considering changing out all of the door handles to factory black handles as well.

I don’t have one on this truck but I had on the last (for the air filter) and remember having to oil. Makes since being a cleaner then some smell goods. Didn’t think oil would of been a good thing for the cabin filter
Do you have stock wheels? Are all of them locking or just 1 per
