You are correct. I am happy with what I got but for $3900 I can get one with less than 10 miles on it plus 3 more years warranty. Maybe a few features added since 2017 but not enough to notice. If I wait I am thinking I couldn't get a deal like this again but maybe I am wrong.

One way to find out … offer them 2 thousand and wait … in the last week of June you'll hear from them and you can bet it will be their rock bottom price. Watch out though because when you go thru finance they'll be looking to make some on the back end with ext warranty, gap etc..

I won't be needing finance. They don't have the truck as it will have to be ordered. It will be the end of June before I would get it. I just have to pay them $500 of this when I order it which is no problem. I then will own $3400 when they get it in. I have actually thought of adding the JBL sound system but probably won't.

Gotcha, probably lowest deal then, I was thinking it was a truck on the lot. Order that new truck with everything you want then and enjoy !

"I'll never find a deal like this" is exactly what dealers what you to believe.

That price is not that special at all, I suspect you don't care much to listen to the good advice here but just want people to accept your justification of the purchase.

JBL is not that great , you could find a stereo shop and have them upgrade your system .

The upgraded safety features and 3 years of warranty are worth the $3,900. Radar cruise control is great and regardless of what a lot of people on this board say, the computer can react quicker than you can to avoid an accident, if something jumps out in front of you.

Do it, man! Do it! Seriously though, to get a truck 2 years newer for 3900 isn’t a bad deal IMO.

I agree. If the 2020 new features aren’t important to you and you are comfortable with the deal, go for it. I recently traded my 2016 SR5 2wd for a 2019 TRD sport 2wd and I couldn’t be happier and I loved my 2016.

Maybe the offer was for the trade in value for his truck, and as he said, he got the dealer down to $3,900!

Do what makes you happy. That's all that matters. As little as you drive I would keep the truck u got and use that 4k on something else in life. The truck you have now will last you forever, most likely with zero peoblems.

I would seriously regret voluntarily upgrading my White 2017 DCSB OR to a newer model with the Toyota Nanny.

OTD this is a great deal. You basically had zero depriciation, just lost the taxes and licensing. Pretax, more likely, not terrible.

If the 2020 features don't thrill you, then I'd say do it.......that's a very good price OTD. Sure you can wait and maybe get a little better deal, but your choices will start to disappear as they gear up 2020 production and close out the 2019 production line. From what I understand, the factory does not actually "build to order". The dealer simply orders from a list of trucks that are already scheduled to be built.

As for not needing financing, you'll still have to sit down with the finance manager, he does all the paper work to transfer title, collect taxes, etc. I'm sure you don't need my advice, but just be prepared for a hard sell and firmly tell him/her you are not interested.
