Fuelly told me my last tank average was 18mpg and I deduced it was because of my short, mostly city driving commute, so I took the chin strap off. Will likely put it back on when I road trip to LA next month, but I like the strap-less look.

Thank you, admittedly I assumed they were black when I seen the brand gorilla lugs in your post. I thought most got the black and gorilla because the coating seemed superior than the rest. I’ll have to look for the black version of your link but I have a starting point so thank you

I wanted chrome because of the chrome Toyota emblem on the center caps.

Been busy this Fathers day weekend. Happy Father's day to all. Added Stage 2 total tails & puddle lights. Also added the OEM bed lights. All these LED lights are really starting to add up. But love the look. Starting to get excited to see the 2020 Pro LED headlights. Wander if they will be plug and play?

I took off the stock running boards and put on these N-FAB bars.

Added a Yakima saddle system to my rack so I can carry a kayak. Took the dog out for a 6 hour paddle and had a blast.

Meh, I never saw a difference on my old sport with or with out the deflector.... city, highway... same-o, same-o as w/the deflector. I'm sure if I had made some long trips, like 500+ miles on the highway, there might have been a tiny bit better mpgs. My current 2019 OR gets as good and I believe a bit better with my normal driving, even dragging around that extra weight of the front gearing.

I will add that I installed a skid plate which I think helps smooth out the airflow under the truck. Something to think about.

What did you do for sound deadening? I’ve seen quite a few people doing that and I’m curious what all is involved.

Finally got to mount Sema wheels and BFG KO2’s this weekend! Also did the TVD decals on the center caps in silver. Love the look! Bedside decal removal is next on the project list.A4F83578-E3B1-48A5-ADE1-8406776C8E91.jpg

Picked up a set of ATH bed corner gussets NIB for $25.00 and a set of Cali Raised Bed Stiffeners NIB for $75. A good day at the local TW trading post and CL. Install tomorrow.

Took my truck to the drive in movie theater this weekend for part of our 5th anniversary celebration. Then today I installed the Seven Sparta raised black tailgate letters and the TVD matte black badge inlays for my dad’s tacoma. Also got him a Barcelona Red MESO minimalist fob for Father’s Day. Don’t have pictures of the result, just of our trucks together. Ever since I’ve showed him things I’ve done to mine he wants to do the same
