I’m hoping that someone here on the forums will be able to help me track down the first owner of this 2017 Quicksand TRD Off Road long bed Tacoma with 25,527 miles on it with a OEM bed extender and a Star Armor step rail. This was purchased from Heritage Toyota Catonsville on May 20th 2017. This Tacoma was recently traded in to a Heritage Dealer in Owens Mills near Baltimore Maryland. All the service on it was performed at Jerry’s Toyota Scion in Nottingham Maryland. The vehicle was registered as a commercial vehicle. I’m just curious to what kind of work was done with this truck. If any knows who owned it and can you please put that person intouch with me please. Reason for asking for help is I’m getting ready to trade in my SR5 for it and would like to get a little background on it if i could. Thanks Chuck

They're all registered as commercial i believe due to weight. At least I think thats the case in California.

In California I believe when I spoke with the people at the DMV, when I was taking care of paperwork for my old 66 F250, it's the open bed that has the potential to be utilized in a commercial capacity. I was told if it had a campershell on it I could have registered it as private vehicle. Apparently this eliminates the possibility to use the vehicle in a commercial capacity. It could have changed since, or maybe I'm not remembering that transaction fully.

Have you asked the dealer? Usually they will contact the previous owner and ask permission for you to contact them.
