My wife wanted to get the Bugatti or big Porsche gt3 kit but those were $300 and she couldn’t justify that kinda scratch on toys...

 

I've settled on War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise one) on the TV and some YouTube. Can't allow my self to window shop. Not allowed to buy anything anytime soon.

 

nice, my brother still collects and hes got a few of the car ones. they look awesome. im just the same as your wife, atleast when it comes to those. truck toys, ya i can drop a penny or two more then i would want to. haha. im gonig to google and see if they have a tacoma one...

 

Just briefly fell asleep at my desk watching “how it’s made” on Hulu. More staff than usual for a Sunday night here, we’re battling for Alerts...

 

I may have told her I lost my sense of self since meeting her as I was an avid car guy but rarely do anything related anymore.
She also knows my dream car is a Porsche 959 and got a matchbox of that for me too. I’d never buy anything like that for myself. I have some old 1/18 die casts from back in the day but nothing new.

I’d like to get more into building things with my boys because I didn’t have that growing up. I had some decent k’nex and erector sets but was always building shit by myself.

I did legos as a kid with my older brother. my folks actaully sent me my legos a few years ago but i didnt build any of them. which was good since my brother asked for them so he could pull his stuff out. once i get them back ill prob build all my star wars sets.

im watching for 0730. then start the work day!!! joy.

 

Until you realize he laid claim to some of your sets as his own.
When I left for the army, my brother took it as a free for all and tried to claim half of my shit as is own. First time I came back into town was a lot of "Where's my ___?" and it'd end up being in his room somewhere.

he knows the star wars are mine. mostly he wanted them for the police station, fort legorado, the sub base and something else.

 

iirc, my parents sold all of our LEGO, GI Joe, etc. in garage sales and the like. Was a shame because there were a lot of them I'd like to get my hands on. Had a big ol rubbermaid/tupperware storage thing full.

 

we have boxes full. i remember as a kid going to pull out the box with the instructions in it and finding my brothers school homework hidden in it. brother was smart just didnt like homework (lack of challenge come to find out).

 

Well, just ordered the pop n lock kit. Mostly since i ordered meso's key fob and im also bad about forgetting to lock my tail gate.

I'm gonna get new tires for my trip. I have the 16" wheels. I found a set of 17" 4runner wheels for $150. My thought is get them just incase I ever want to upgrade the brakes(they won't fit with 16's).

I actually like the factory wheels. I don't think I'll ever need the wider ones from the aftermarket. I'm more thinking of brakes after I add all the shit I want. It'll be a bit more weight
