Ah, okay, that makes more sense! Is it bike week up there, or did you just go up for the day?

Soooo great start to the morning. Every week I have to test our fire pump, well the exhaust has somehow gotten fucked up and it isn't venting well. Fast forward 3 days and the CO2 has been sitting and wafting up through the ceiling into the room above...aka the bridal suite. So that went off at 5 am this morning. Fire department showed up etc...

SUPER lucky the brides were staying down the road at a different hotel this weekend. Sprinkler system guys are getting a call monday. This is the 3rd time it's happened over about 6-8 months, but the first time we've really chatted with the fire deparment and gotten it figured it out. CO2 in suite was around 70-80, the pump room was over 200.:eek:

Fire department said maybe 15 minutes in there until you're puking sick. Need to get on this asap, and make sure its fixed before this weekend.

Morning everyone! Good day to knock of some outside work. Got some weed killer to spray, some lower tree limbs to clear for satellite signal stuff and then heading to my parents with my brother to put the dock and rafts in the pond for the summer. If I'm lucky I'll still have some time when I get home to clean out our septic tank filter

Lucky you, weed killer and septic in one day! You can never be too careful with the weed killer (or poop, for that matter)...I go full respirator, safety glasses, gloves, etc. We just lost a family friend and it looks like “chemical vegetation control” contributed greatly to illness.

At least I don't have to do the grease trap in the kitchen today too! That would be the trifecta. For the spray, we generally use a organic pretty safe one, but it didn't cut it in a few areas so I'm bringing out the rm43. Which I really wish I didn't have to use, but it is only in a few small areas, one 4 gallon tank takes care of it. I use glasses, full long sleeve and pants and rubber gloves but didn't do a respirator today. I know I should, but I am hoping the fact I only use it once a year, twice absolute maximum, should keep me sorta safe. I shower and wash everything I wear right after as well. My brother runs a landscaping company and they refuse to use it anymore, which is why I had to do it myself on this stuff.

Awesome!! Good luck and hopefully you enjoy trucking. Just don't read any of this until lunch break so you don't get distracted!
