That's pretty darn good! the OEM weight is is 4500 lbs IIRC. My rack/ softopper setup hopefully makes up for the gas, water, and spare on my swingout lol.

I'll weigh a little more once I pick up another thing :)

haha, surprisingly my dakars aren't flat, and the ride is pretty good! even when I'm loaded up with a bed full of stuff (Pelican Cooler, table, food bin, etc) i hardly sag lol

Will def keep you posted. I've made 3 routes so far, and I'm thinking next week while my gf is away, I'm grabbing our dog and going on an exploratory drive through Michaux. Some locals gave me coordinates of some of their favorite unmarked campsites, and I gotta check them out lol.

@Wheelspinner and I are wondering if you charge $250 per rig to #guide the route on free trails like other overland enthusiasts?

It’s actually painful to watch. Basically throttle out if you aren’t equipped lol

I lost hope with them when they threw down 12 maxtrax to get out of a small ditch that they could have driven another 6 feet and just driven out of it. Nothing like throwing $1800 worth of plastic (that ok4wd probably have them) on the ground to create enough content to make 10 minutes worth of video. This was on an instagram story for those wondering what I’m talking about lol

Took the plastic piece off the tailgate to get a flat surface back, and threw my spigot condom back on @Wheelspinner

Haha nope! Drank from a hose, climbed fences and trees, normal kid stuff. I just don’t want road grit getting in there, and decreasing the functionality of the valve!

hahaha I thought about that too, but meh no worries it's worth the extra effort to cover IMO lol

In other news, it only took 3 years but I finally decided to name the truck!

Her name is Ruby, I know, real original lol

    haha thanks man!

The build is slowing down for a little bit now (I think).

Acquiring parts to rebuild the front end with @Arcticelf one of these days, but other than that she's pretty dialed for my needs!
