That sucks to hear man. Happened to me a few years back. At least you got some notice so thats good, for me (and the other 10% of the company) it was a no notice type of deal. They called an 'HR' meeting first day back in January right after the holidays. Standard "due to downsizing" BS. Anyway, time for another weekend camping trip

Hmmm. I know the cap is shaped differently for sure. 20190615_235608.jpg

But I was under impression that the rest is the same.

I totally have to find time and meet up with ya, and check it out

That part is not for sale.

I thought the other piece was taller on the 3rd gens. We could ask the boss, @Mobtown Offroad

Need to do this for transmission protection. My center console should not be getting warm..

What does your ATF temp run at?

I noticed my center console is getting warm since I put the 35s on. On a warm day my trans is running around 170 and engine around 200 degrees. In the mountains trans get up around 200 and engine 207. I'm not liking those numbers. I cleaned out my radiator as best I could and deleted my behind grill lightbar but that didnt seem to help. I dont have an exhaust reroute yet so that isnt contributing to the trans temp. I'm considering that Cfs radiator and a bigger or double trans cooler. I'm also considering going back down to 33 inch pizza cutters. My truck was a lot happier then. I'm just not sure these 35s that I only need 2% of the time are worth having negative side effects 100% of the time.

Thanks for the reference. MUCH appreciated! Sometimes it's the little things....

    How is your exhaust routed?

Radiant heat will always be present between the trans and body. What you may be wanting to do is put the barrier on the underside of the body above the trans (where center console is).
