Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
It's not just the height of the tire though. The extra width will get you too when turning. (as far as how much hammering is needed to make it clear)

Yea, I’ve seen a few best gens with them. I think it’s doable with my massive amount of caster I’m running.
I really start losing a lot of height past 12.
Probably more just to satisfy to desire to have something new. Pounding on the firewall doesn’t bother me. Who knows what I’ll decide.
    Yep.

That was all I ever took mine too. When I put them on beadlocks I only went to 10 because they squat so much. They also work just fine at that psi.
Easy to say with 37s vs his 33s though. And if you're referencing right now with the tires you have, they are much stouter than km2s so you can probably get away with keeping more height at a lower psi

FWIW, I liked the KM3s better than the KM2s, and the STT Pros are as good as the KM3s. The STT Pros also tend to be slightly bigger than the BFG in the same size.

    @allmotorrex
Have you noticed that the km2 resembles the krawlers and the km3 resembles the BFG projects desert tires? From watching the km2, it out performs the km3 in the rocks but the km3 is a better all around tire. Just depends on what trails you want to run

Glad you had fun wheeling with us! Your truck works super well and is fun to spot.

You’re due to add a tcase skid now, I had to spot you intentionally around it a few times. Breaking a tcase housing or transmission case is no fun.

Be careful on the bigger tire and beadlock road. Keep in mind that even aluminum beadlock wheels are quite a bit heavier than non-beadlocks. Plus added weight from a taller and heavier tire and you are more likely to break some things...not saying it wouldn’t be worth it but you definitely want to go through the pros and cons before you commit

    Yep! All valid.

That case does hang loooow. Already have the basic design in my head. Just need to get some steel and make it.

Thanks man, but it would cost me more in gas than the steel. Haha. I already have a big sheet of 3/16" I'll use for the belly. Just need to grab some square tube for the frame.

I'll tell you what though... I will take some design advice if you have any to offer. I'll post up a drawing of what I have in mind for you to critique.

Yeah that's right. The km2 and km3 tires are completely different in design where the Km2 is a more street friendly version of a Krawler and a Km3 is a more street friendly version of a KR tire. The KM2s squishier sidewalls and specific "krawler" design make it a better pure rock tire (I think of AOP terrain and rock garden stuff). If Carter wants to stick with a radial, light weight tire to take advantage of how he wants to use his truck, I don't see a better option than the KM2.

    Plan of attack.

    1. Axles first because I can't wheel without a spare. Need to order a couple reboot kits.

    2. Toolbox. I need some storage space, and I'm tired of my cab smelling like gear oil. I have an old ugly white toolbox I'm going to use because, FREE. Anybody had any luck with the roll on bedliner stuff you buy at TSC/Lowes/etc?

    3. Build a T-case skid

    4. Tires. Mine are getting horribly loud. They are about as round as a lego right now. Haha. That's going to mean making a decision on size and possible a wheel change. I don't even want to think about it right now. Two most likely options are buying another set of 255 km2's, or 285/75/17 km2's with some beadlocks.

    5. FROR gas tank skid with the new tank.
