285s will they fit on the factory rims or do you need spacers?

well a 32 will be fine on a sport rim. and some people have ran 285's on stocks. not sure if it's safe or reccomended. but the spacers will help it work too

I do alot of Hwy driving so I dont want to go really big, I learnt that the hard way with my 1997 Tacoma I did a 6 inch lift with 33 and it just sucked the gas back.

well do a 32", that's what is on mine and it looks pretty good to me (look in sig.). but anything less with that lift will look goofy to be honest. the 33" (285) is a little bigger/heavier, so it will have a little more mpg loss. but really not significantly more than the 32". just my standpoint.

did you do alignment yet? if so, what were your specs? Reading a bunch, it has been mentioned multiple times that even a 2.5 would need new UCAs to get proper alignment..

yeah, i've heard that some are doing fine without new uca's. but most ppl need them. i'm one of the one's that need them... :(. my front tires/wheels point slightly inward (OP should check and see if his do), it sucks that they cost so much, but they will def. have to be my next purchase. it won't really hurt you too bad if you go without them for a decent amount of time, your tires will just wear unevenly, have bad angles, and alignment won't be just right. i know mine does anyway, i get a slight vibe between 0-20mph bc the alignment is getting off and bc the tires need to be balanced/rotated due to uneven wear. as long as you don't ride like this for a while, you're good, just make uca's your next buy.
