Come up to Williams this week, and we'll get you taken care of . No frosted/diffused red... just a diffused white. The red we make is a clear lens, you don't really need a diffused lens on the different colors.

 

Damn I didn't even know you were in AZ! I might swing down there. I just got my 3rd painted. Hopefully install this week.

anybody paint these themselves with a rattle can? will the regular duplicolor work? any special prep because it's a plastic piece. sorry, limited experience painting plastic parts.

 

Simple and clean

 

I see you probably ordered already, but another format to consider - amber vs clear/white. I rarely use the cargo lights and would rather not kill my night vision when working/camping/etc. Plus, I can use them as a chase light off road or as high visibility during heavy fog, snow, or rain. Food for thought!

 

@MESO a KC 5 was sent to me instead of the BD5. PM sent

 

@MESO can you tell me the the thread size for the 3 center bolt holes on the kc lights? They appear to be threaded and don’t want to mess the threads up. Also what was the consensus on the best plastic plugs for the center of the cyclones. I think I read something about Lowe’s having them but can find it in the 130 pages.

 

Meso does provide the center caps for KC lights, it comes with 3rd brake light housing.

 

He also includes the hardware, so no need to worry... well, unless you’re me and replace things to achieve solutions.

 

Hmmmm I didn’t get any hardware except the clip nut things and the bolts for those. I think my wife got mine from the spring cleaning sale he just had. So probably didn't include the extra hardware with mine. I guess I’ll have to figure something out.

 

I can check my supplies, but I seem to recall M6 bolts and 3/4 cap plugs.
