Is the “Limited” actually limited?

Although I don’t personally care for chrome, one only has to look at pickups on the road to understand that pickups and bling go together like ham and eggs.

It’s only understandable that Toyota would feel the need to offer a blinged out version of Tacoma.

If I could afford one, I'd go Limited, but for now the SR will do. That hickory leather is on point, and the wheels look nice.

On the other hand, the 4Runner Limited looks ridiculous.

I saw a newer Silverado last week that looked like the guy had bought everything he could from a JC Whitney catalog. That thing had so much chrome garbage on it, even the mudflaps where chrome, lol.

There’s enough chrome on the front of modern pickups to reflect solar flares back to the sun

There you go. Instead of Tacoma Limited it should be Tacoma Heartland Edition.

The grill is fine. Not worth messing with. I don't have an obsession with turning everything black and removing all logos. Chrome has been around a very long time and will probably remain so for many years to come. I am debating the factory roof rack. The rack is ugly, but will best serve my purpose of a place to put my ski rack.

Maybe if it were actual chrome lol. But no....lets just stick some plastic "chrome" pieces all over the truck and call it "limited."

vs black plastic and call it Pro? Clearly the chrome is not what inspired my purchase, if you had read the thread. I just don't mind it, like some do. It looks fine to me. It is hard to find a car/truck without plastic now days. If my criteria was no plastic, then I would have a very difficult time finding a vehicle.

The shit posting squad is more of a commune with decisions made by popular vote...or impulse. Mainly impulse. Impulse for the lulz.

I have no idea. I think it’s entirely possible they’ve chosen me as their leader but I’m not sure.

I've read this thread start to finish, i was referring to my taste. If my vehicle has chrome on it, id want it to be actual chrome. (about impossible to find these days) I guess i've seen too many plastic "chrome" pieces flaking, chipped, faded etc. Hard to fix that without replacing the whole thing unlike black plastic....you just respray it lol. I'm glad you like your truck....thats all that matters. If we all liked the same thing, this place would be extremely boring.
