Anybody have a good automatic knife?

I’m looking at the Kershaw launch.
It looks small but I kind of like it.

I've had this knife now for about 5 years and has probably been one of my favorites knives I've owned. I had this one before that until I lost it while riding an ATV.

I've had the SOG ST02 for a few years. No complaints. It sits low and isn't noticeable. It's used on a regular basis, so it's not as pretty as some :D

yeah it is. Definitely a modern take on the Buck 110. My first ever experience with a knife was a buck 110 so it has a special place in my life. When i saw this i knew i had to get one for my dad. Now i just gotta buy one for myself lol.

After @mjbtaco pic of the crooked river, I had to dig out my old buck 110 for comparison. I bought this in 1976, right before I went on a cow elk hunt with my kit made Hawken .54 cal. muzzle loader. Didn’t get to use it that year, but many yrs after I did.

Got mine on display in my case. Doesnt really get much use but I love this knife.

My dad is the one that got me into knives and this was my first introduction to them. So I got one tattooed with his initials.

I gave my 110 to a supervisor. He lost his. It’s just too big for me. Fantastic knife tho. My boss can sharpen it to a wild edge. It’s in good hands.

I found a broken 112, and Buck fixed it for $10. The size is perfect. It’s in my hunt pack 100%

I went luxury camping in Palo Alto. Lexus, Tesla’s and German cars littered the parking lot. All those people, I think I brought the only knife. And I only brought a folder. I seriously thought we would drive back to town for coffee. Haha. (Oh, I brought the only truck).

Anyways I had to build a fire in the community camp fire ring. I brought seasoned oak. I had an axe, but there were way too many tiny kids around. One of which is my cute ass God-son who never left my side. Axe stayed in the truck. Safety first.

I didn’t baton with my knife but I did cut kindling with it. I simply pushed my body weight into the straightest grain pieces. Fire On!

Then I had to cut sticks and make them pointy for all the kids. Man it was fun! My new Ace Biblio handled it with ease. It could still slice paper, but jaggedly. I sharpened it and went with a shallower angle. Holy Sheet! It is profoundly sharp! It’s been a long time since I didn’t have another folder on the list to buy. I think I’m done.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

@Built2Ride These are being discontinued, so get one while you can. One of the best CPKs in their line up!
